As an AR Specialist, you’ll ensure payments are posted correctly and accounts are balanced on time. Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Plano, TX
Pay Rate: $23/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8-5 (on-site role)
Responsibilities:
Post daily checks and electronic payments with speed and precision
Reconcile accounts and follow up on discrepancies or outstanding balances
Work cross-functionally with internal departments to resolve payment issues
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
Generate aging reports and assist with collections as needed
Deliver timely and clear communication with clients regarding payments
Continuously identify process improvement opportunities in AR workflows
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or similar accounting role
Strong math aptitude and keen attention to detail
Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks independently
Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving
High school diploma required
